Executive Assistant

Brittany Wallace joined the Provost’s Office in March 2023. Brittany is an Executive Assistant to Gabe Hernandez, Vice President of AE Finance. Brittany has nine years of service at UTMB prior to joining our team, most recently serving as Executive Assistant to Dr. Pei-Yong Shi in the Sealy Institute for Drug Discovery.

Brittany is a dynamic team member whose strengths include streamlining projects/items, taking on complex projects, and working on team assignments. Brittany completed the Leadership Galveston Program in 2017 and was awarded Administrative Staff of the Year for 2018-2019 while in Family Medicine. Brittany also won “Best Karaoke,” of which she is most proud. Brittany is a notary and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in business.

Brittany volunteers and serves on several board groups to support her children’s educational growth and extracurricular activities. When not at work Brittany enjoys making memories with her family and a competitive game of dominos against her husband.
