Claudia Young

Claudia Young joined UTMB in 1994.  During her 30 years of service, she has worked in the Department of Internal Medicine, the School of Nursing and the Office of the EVP, Provost and Dean of Medicine.  In 2008 she was awarded the Model of Success Award at UTMB.   

In her role as Sr. Executive Assistant, she proudly supports the Executive Vice President, Provost, and Dean of Medicine on special projects within the Academic Enterprise. 

Claudia has two children, Dominique and Amaya.  Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with family and friends.
