Lauren Bailey

Training Specialist II

Lauren Bailey has been with UTMB since 2017 and has worked for several departments and ASGs within the UTMB System. She has excelled in many roles with a focus in Business Coordination. Throughout her years of service, she has developed an extensive knowledge base and is familiar with the broad scope of UTMB’s business operations. Lauren graduated in 2015 from Ohio University with a degree in Communications, Marketing & Management where she was also a full-time student-athlete.

In February 2017, she began working part-time for the Department of Radiology as an Administrative Assistant. A year later she moved into a full-time role as an Imaging Library Rep where she continued to advance her career and knowledge. With a few years under her belt, she began to transition her career to focus on Business Administration and eventually on to a Senior level Business Coordinator for the Department of Internal Medicine. She continued her career in Internal Medicine for three years. Lauren brings an enhanced perspective to the Provost Administration team, from her several years of service. Lauren is currently responsible for coordinating our Continuing Medical Education Accreditation events and operations.

Lauren was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She loves spending time with her family and friends in her down time and enjoys travelling any chance she gets. She is married to her wife Julia Bailey, and together they have three wonderful dogs named Ollie, Brewer and Jax.
