Shelly Lewis began her career at UTMB in 1997 as a secretary in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Before joining the Provost’s Office in September 2023, Shelly worked in the Sealy Center for Environmental Health and Medicine,
Medical Staff Services and the Department of Pathology.
Shelly was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas, where she grew up riding and showing horses. She moved to Texas in 1992 and currently resides in Santa Fe. Shelly can be found relaxing at a beach, traveling or making memories with
her three adorable granddaughters, Bayleigh, Rachel and Raeann.
