Sonia Rodriguez

Sonia Rodriguez began her career at UTMB in 1997 and has worked for several departments, including Physicians Billing, PeopleSoft Help Desk, Information Services and Ambulatory (PSS2).  She joined the Provost’s Office as a Senior Administrative Specialist in October 2022. Outside her career at UTMB, she worked in residential/commercial property management for 10 years.  

Since October 2022 she has also been a member of the Administrative Professionals Association at UTMB, which she joined as an opportunity to network with colleagues. 

Sonia holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from ITT Technical Institute, which she earned in 2001. She is currently enrolled at Galveston College to obtain her Bachelor of Science in health care management.
