Steve Fawcett, CISA

Steve Fawcett, CISA, joined the Provost’s Office in October 2008.  Mr. Fawcett is a Compliance Specialist with respect to FDA 21 CRF Part 11, supporting the Office of Regulated Nonclinical Studies. He also acts a Project Manager and Network Administrator for the Information Services team in the Galveston National Laboratory. Mr. Fawcett has been in information services for over 30 years. In his employment with UTMB, he has supported institutional audits of IT systems, software applications, and study protocols. He currently assists in and provides security recommendations for IT systems within the GNL.  

 Mr. Fawcett holds a Bachelor of Science in computer sciences from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor through ISACA.  He is currently working towards a Cisco CCNA on his path to a CCNP Enterprise certification.
