Toni Hernandez joined the UTMB Institutional Review Board as an IRB Coordinator in December 2023. Toni began her career with UTMB in 2011 as a Patient Services Specialist in Cardiology. For 11 years, she worked with the Heart Station and Cardiac
Rehabilitation Department before joining research in the Center for Metabolic Health as a Research Development Specialist.
Prior to UTMB, Toni worked for two private clinics for a total of 10 years, serving patients throughout the southeast Texas area.
