Windi Fleming

Windi Fleming, CH-ERIM, joined UTMB in April 2012 as Records Management Analyst. Ms. Fleming transitioned to Senior Records Specialist in March 2015 and was promoted September 2023 to Lead Records Specialist for the Institutional Office of Regulated Nonclinical Studies (ORNcS). Ms. Fleming has over 28 years of experience in managing records in “secured environments” in accordance with state and federal retention policies. Ms. Fleming has been instrumental in developing and implementing standard operating procedures and supporting MasterControl Electronic Document Management System (MCEDMS). In this capacity, she assisted in the development and implementation of the MCEDMS training modules.

Ms. Fleming educational background includes 34 credit hours toward an associate degree in business administration from College of the Mainland, Texas City, Texas. She has completed ARMA International’s Essential of Records Information Management Certification program (CH-ERIM). 

During her personal time Ms. Fleming enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle, working out and traveling around the world with her husband and daughter.
