Annual Wellness Visits for People with DementiaA National Study at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB)
We are conducting a research study. We want to learn about clinicians and caregivers of those with Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias. We hope to improve services during the Annual Wellness Visit (AWV).
How Caregivers Can Help
Optimal dementia care means finding memory loss early. It also means early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias. We want to help people with dementia live better lives. By joining our study, you can help improve the Annual Wellness Visit for those with dementia.
- Are you caring for a male loved one 65 or older with a memory problem or dementia, and
- Have you attended at least one Annual Wellness Visit with them?
If so, your unique experience could be the key to enhancing wellness services for individuals with dementia. Your unique experience could help improve Annual Wellness Visits. Joining our research study is easy! Just share your experience with wellness services. It takes only 60-90 minutes. Join a private interview, via telephone or Zoom.
How Providers Can Help
- Share your experience in a brief, 15-minute survey
- Help us identify what works and what does not work in delivering the Annual Wellness Visit for adults > 65 years old with dementia
- Your voice matters!
