Christine Boone, OTD, OTR/L, is an Assistant
Professor of Instruction in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the
University of Texas Medical Branch. She received her Master of Science in
Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 2003 and her Post-Professional
Doctor of Occupational Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina in
2024.
Christine brings over 22 years of pediatric
occupational therapy experience across early intervention, school-based, and
outpatient settings. Her clinical experiences have shaped her passion for
preparing future occupational therapists to think critically, translate
evidence into practice, and provide occupation-centered care. Her professional
interests include pediatric practice, occupational therapy education, and the
scholarship of teaching and learning. She holds certifications in Interactive
Metronome and Therapeutic Listening and is a 500-hour trained Hatha yoga
instructor. Christine is a member of AOTA, WFOT, and SCOTA.
