Chelsea B. Hoover, MS, RD, CSR, LD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Nutrition Sciences and Health Behavior in the School of Health Professions at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health).
Hoover earned a Bachelor of Science in nutrition from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in nutrition from Texas Woman’s University in Houston, where she also completed her dietetic internship.
Before joining UTMB, Hoover practiced clinical dietetics for 12 years, including seven years specializing in renal nutrition. She earned board certification as a specialist in renal nutrition in 2017.
