Lindsay Hughes, MS, RD, LD is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Nutrition Sciences and Health Behavior in the School of Health Professions at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Ms. Hughes received a Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Nutrition Science and Psychology from Florida State University. She earned a Master of Science in Dietetics with a minor in Health Education and completed the dietetic internship at Sam Houston State University.
Before joining the department, Ms. Hughes practiced clinical dietetics for seven years, specializing in bariatrics and diabetes education. She also has three years of experience teaching undergraduate nutrition courses.
