About Me

Sarah Varekojis, PhD, RRT, RRT-ACCS, FNAP, FAARC is the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs in the School of Health Professions. She has extensive experience in respiratory therapy and health professions education, program development, and academic leadership. She is recognized for her commitment to student success, innovative curriculum design, and strong collaboration with clinical and professional partners. Dr. Varekojis has been actively engaged in advancing the respiratory therapy profession through service as President of the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care, and Chair or Co-Chair of several American Association for Respiratory Care committees focused on education and workforce development.
