Megan Berman earned her medical degree at Loyola University in Chicago, IL and completed her residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She worked as a hospitalist in South Carolina prior to joining faculty at UTMB in 2008. She is active clinically with a private clinic with the Harborside Medical Group. She is involved in resident education, delivering lectures, and has taught medical students in the Practice of Medicine course. Dr. Berman has a particular interest in assessing and improving the quality of care delivered to all patients. To this end she has completed the MD Anderson Clinical Safety and Effectiveness Program and is actively pursuing projects to improve quality and efficiency of care. Dr. Berman has a shared interest in vaccine clinical research and has joined the SIVS Clinical Trials Program team.
