Yvette Schulz, BS, MBA

Yvette Schulz serves as the Program Manager for the Department of Aerospace and Exploration Medicine at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), where she oversees programmatic and academic operations and supports the department’s contract activities with NASA’s prime contractor. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from UTMB and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She began her career at UTMB in 1996 within the Department of Internal Medicine before joining the Department of Preventive Medicine and Community Health in 2000, which has since evolved into the School of Public and Population Health. With more than 30 years of experience in academic administration, Yvette brings expertise and experience in program management, grants and contracts administration, affiliation and training agreements, human resources, clinical administration, procurement, financial management, and operational leadership. Throughout her career, she has supported the advancement of educational and research initiatives through strategic planning, process improvement, and collaborative partnerships across academic, healthcare, and government organizations.
