As a member of the University of Texas System – one of the U.S.’s largest public university systems – and part of the Texas Medical Center – the world’s largest medical complex – the School of Public and Population Health (SPPH) at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) equips graduates with the training and skills to become leaders in academia, industry, and government. Our mission is to lead innovative public health education, impactful research, and evidence-informed practice and policy through authentic collaborations on the Gulf Coast, in Texas, and around the world.

SPPH offers a range of graduate degrees, including MPH degrees, MPH dual degrees (MD/MPH, PA/MPH, and PhD/MPH), PhD's in Bioethics and Health Humanities, Population Health Sciences, and Rehabilitation & Health Services Research, and Master’s in biostatistics, aerospace medicine, and bioethics and health humanities.
