Putting Pandemics Behind Us

The World Bank has just issued another important report recommending One Health investments and interventions to prevent future epidemics -

Many US and international governmental and professional organizations are also strongly embracing One Health as a best way forward to mitigate complex problems such an infectious disease epidemics, antimicrobial resistant pathogens, and food security.  Numerous academic, professional, and governmental agencies are standing up One Health activities, journals, education, funding, etc:

As led by the Office of the Vice President of Research, UTMB has organized a symposium that will review why One Health is important and outline the numerous One Health scientific activities and training opportunities UTMB has to offer.

  • Continuing Medical Education credits will be offered for physicians.
  • For those participating in person who register by November 18, lunch will be provided.
