30-60 days of the beginning of your start term, students will receive a CasteBranch eVite at their UTMB student email providing a link to CastleBranch, the company responsible for background screening and for UTMB students. You will receive two separate
emails from CastleBranch sometime in July. One will be for you to complete the drug screen and the other will be for you to complete the background check. Once these have been completed, your badge can be ordered.
All entering students must have undergone a security background check, drug screen and submit required proof of immunizations. (

Check your UTMB email account regularly for official school communications. The staff in your department have been instructed to only use your UTMB email to communicate with you and
not personal email accounts. Your account will be disabled due to inactivity if you fail to login for ninety days.
