External Sites

We are proud to collaborate with some of our partners within the Texas Medical Center to enhance our sub-specialty training. Our residents have the opportunity to rotate with some of the top institutions in the world for Urologic Oncology and Pediatric Urology. The Texas Children’s and M.D. Anderson rotations are fully immersive inpatient/outpatient 2-month rotations, and housing is provided by the program. These rotations give the resident the opportunity to work in dedicated cancer and pediatric facilities and provide exposure to many of the leaders in their respective fields. Operative experience includes the full breadth of cases that would be expected at such highly regarded referral centers. Resident feedback towards these experiences has been overwhelmingly positive and has even led some to pursue fellowship training at these institutions.
