Dr. Sharron Forest

SON's Forest Selected for Regents' Outstanding Teaching Award

Dr. Sharron Forest, professor and Doctor of Nursing Practice program director in the School of Nursing, is a 2023 recipient of the Regents' Outstanding Teaching Award.

The University of Texas System Board of Regents established the annual Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Awards program to honor extraordinary classroom performance and innovation. Each recipient receives a certificate, a medallion and $25,000 in appreciation of their impact on students and their institutions.

Forest will be recognized among this year's honorees at the November Board of Regents meeting. To see all of the 2023 honorees, visit the Regents' Outstanding Teaching Award website.
