- Internationally with the Web Accessibility Initiative's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) (the most basic guidelines for creating accessible content)
- Federally with Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 508, and the The 21st Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act (CVAA)

Accessibility (A11Y) Education
UTMB's digital accessibility site contains training, playbooks, resources and tools to guide us in creating accessible content. It's important to remember that just like digital security, as applications and technology change; so will the requirements in creating accessible content. Digital accessibility is an on-going commitment and effort to create content with as few barriers as possible for our users.
