This first session in the series includes a review of the basics of finances in academic health and UTMB’s overall economic landscape. Mr. Bailey will cover the financial goals of each mission and how it all comes together for consolidated academic medical institutions.
Subsequent sessions will cover a number of topics that dive a little deeper into domains such as: how faculty compensation works; how financial systems and reporting can help drive results; as well as topics around how faculty can help financial performance.
