Cancer Connection Research Symposium
Join us for the Cancer Connection Research Symposium. We designed this event to bring together investigators, clinicians, trainees, and partners to explore how cancer discoveries move from the laboratory toward patients and the community. This event will highlight the importance of connecting academic discovery, translational research, and emerging biotechnology to accelerate progress in cancer research.
Hosted by the Office of Team Science, Cancer Connection will feature keynote presentations from biotechnology leaders and research funders who are shaping the future of cancer therapeutics and discovery. The program includes perspectives from startup founders developing new cancer therapies alongside senior leadership from the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT), offering insight into the evolving landscape of cancer research and funding.
Registration is free and open to all UTMB faculty, trainees, clinicians, and staff. The symposium is designed to encourage discussion, collaboration, and new opportunities across the cancer research community.
Please reach out to Matt Mendoza at malmendo@utmb.edu if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you there.
