Library Liaison Program

The Library Liaison program assigns a librarian to specific departments to establish close working relationships between faculty/staff and their librarian. Liaisons provide one point of contact to target Library services directly to the needs of you or your department.

Your Liaison can help with:

  • Custom literature searches; including systematic reviews and grant references
  • Tailored classes, orientations, and department-specific resources (e.g., journal clubs, readings)
  • Develop custom web pages/guides specific to your department/subject area
  • Scheduling on-site visits or attending meetings to strengthen collaboration
  • Advocating for your department’s needs within the library
