The Library Liaison program assigns a librarian to specific departments to establish close working relationships between faculty/staff and their librarian. Liaisons provide one point of contact to target Library services directly to the needs of you or your department.
Your Liaison can help with:
- Custom literature searches; including systematic reviews and grant references
- Tailored classes, orientations, and department-specific resources (e.g., journal clubs, readings)
- Develop custom web pages/guides specific to your department/subject area
- Scheduling on-site visits or attending meetings to strengthen collaboration
- Advocating for your department’s needs within the library
