The Texas Medical Board (TMB) has announced an important update that will affect all TMB licensees beginning Sept. 1, 2026.
Under new state requirements, all continuing education (CE) must be tracked and verified through CE Broker, the Board’s official CE tracking system, prior to license renewal. Licensees must establish and maintain a free CE Broker account, ensure that all completed CE activities are reported in the system, and are responsible for entering and uploading their CE documentation as needed. Failure to do so may delay or prevent renewal. While use of CE Broker remains optional until the implementation date (unless selected for audit), licensees are strongly encouraged to set up their account now and begin tracking CE to ensure a smooth transition.
