Sree Uma Maheshwar Reddy Vangapaty joined the Office of Faculty Affairs at UTMB in September 2025 as a Data Management Analyst. In his role, he supports faculty affairs operations through expertise in healthcare data management, analysis, and reporting.
Prior to joining UTMB, Maheshwar worked at the Indiana University School of Medicine as a Clinical Data Management Analyst, where he contributed to research and healthcare initiatives by applying his clinical knowledge and data analytics expertise.
Maheshwar holds a Master’s degree in Health Informatics from Indiana University and a Bachelor’s degree in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery. His combined background in clinical medicine and informatics provides him with a unique skill set to support Data Management.
