Andrew Janicki, MD

Integrative & Behavioral Medicine Fellow

Dr. Janicki joined the Department of Family Medicine in 2024. He is a board certified family physician at the Family Medicine Clinic – Island East and Island West. Dr. Janicki earned his Bachelor of Science Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University in Bryan, Texas and his Doctorate of Medicine from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Dr. Janicki n completed his residency training with the University of Arizona Family Medicine Residency Program in Tucson, Arizona and remained as an assistant professor as part of their faculty until returning to UTMB Health as a Fellow.

Dr. Janicki is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Dr. Janicki's research and clinical interests are Teaching Kitchen's offering culinary health education, Integrative Medicine and Acupuncture.
