Kyu Kim Jana, MD
Associate Professor
Dr. Jana joined UTMB’s Department of Family Medicine in 2011. She currently serves as an Associate Professor of Family Medicine.
Dr. Jana earned a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College and a Doctor
of Medicine from John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of
Hawaii at Manoa. She completed family medicine internship and residency
training at the University of Illinois at Chicago . Following
residency, she served in the US Air Force as a physician. Dr. Jana has
also completed a geriatric medicine fellowship at the Albert Einstein
Medical Center; and an integrative medicine fellowship at the Arizona
Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. Dr. Jana
was the 2016-2017 Manning Fellow in Geriatrics.
Dr. Jana is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with
Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatric Medicine. She is a
Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and certified by the
American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine.
Dr. Jana's interests include geriatric and integrative medicine; and medical student and resident education.
