Dr. Zuleica Santiago-Delgado joined the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health in 2018. She the Medical Director and family physician at the Family Medicine Clinic - Island East with a focus in women's health and obstetrics. Dr. Santiago-Delgado earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, and a Doctorate of Medicine from Ponce Health Science University in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Dr. Santiago-Delgado completed her residency training at UTMB Health and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Santiago-Delgado is a board certified family physician and her academic and clinical interests include women's health, academic medicine, and underserved population medicine. She also serves as the Director of the residency specialty focus, Medical Spanish Track.
