On Monday, June 28, 2010 Family Medicine Doctor's Victor Sierpina and Sungmi Lian lectured at the Conquering Cancer Summer Lecture Series. Drs. Victor Sierpina and Sungmi Lian spoke about Integrative Oncology and how it can support cancer prevention, treatment and recovery utilizing integrated, complementary therapeutic options in addition to the state-of-the-art oncology care. They spoke about the importance of eating the right foods, exercise, mind-body therapies to reduce stress and promote positive thought while incorporating integrative treatments like acupuncture and massage.
