January 2, 2016 – Jamal Islam, MD and Tuere Coulter, MD assumed their newly appointed leadership roles today with the UTMB Health Family Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Islam will serve as the new Director of the UTMB Health Family Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Islam is an Associate Professor and has served as Associate Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program since August 2015.
Dr. Coulter will serve as the new Associate Director of the program.
Dr. Coulter is an Assistant Professor. She completed the UTMB Health Scholars in Education Program in 2015, and is the medical director for the Ball High Teen Prenatal Clinic.
