The UTMB Health Department of Family Medicine is pleased to announce that Hammad Qureshi, MD has been appointed the course director for the Acting Internship (AI) in Family Medicine (FAMU 4001). Dr. Qureshi's appointment is effective immediately.
Dr. Qureshi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine, where he has been a member of the faculty since 2014.
The AI gives medical students an opportunity to gain a more in-depth experience in family medicine inpatient care. Approximately 10-15 students complete the course each year.
