Chibuike Ofoegbuna, MD

Resident Physician

Dr. Ofoegbuna joined the Department of Family Medicine in 2023. He is a resident physician in training at the Family Medicine Clinic – Island East. Dr. Ofoegbuna earned his Bachelor of Science in Medical Dosimetry from the MD Anderson Cancer Center School of Health Professions.  Dr. Ofoegbuna earned his Doctorate of Medicine from The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio's Long School of Medicine.

Dr. Ofoegbuna is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Dr. Ofoegbuna's academic and clinical interests include obesity medicine, cancer prevention and management of chronic illness.
