National Residency Matching

A closely monitored measure of the effectiveness of UTMB's medical education program and the competitiveness of medical school graduates is the rate at which they successfully place into residencies through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) to complete the graduate medical education portion of their training. UTMB's criterion is 90%. Table 3 summarizes the NRMP rate of placement for the past five years.
