Teri serves as the Team Lead for Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy in our pediatric inpatient and outpatient areas. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in 2000 from the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska. She has been employed with UTMB as an Occupational Therapist since July 2000. She specializes in NICU therapy, feeding therapy and children with special needs. She has been certified in the Neonatal Oral Motor Assessment Scale (NOMAS) and in Infant Therapeutic Touch and Massage instruction.
Sherrill has been in the UTMB system since 1998, servicing pediatric clients in the clinics and within the home. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in 1998. Sherrill is certified in Neurodevelopmental Therapy (NDT) and in Infant Therapeutic Touch and Massage instruction. She has clinical proficiency in pediatric complex feeding disorders with experience treating pediatric clients from the NICU to those in school.
Amy has been at UTMB since 1996 working in pediatrics. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in 1991 and Master of Physical Therapy from UTMB Galveston in 1996. Amy is APTA Board Certified in Pediatrics and also certified in Infant Therapeutic Touch and Massage instruction. Her clinical specialties include evaluation and treatment of children with complex special needs. She also oversees our Seating Clinic for assessment, provision and fitting of client equipment needs.
Shawna has been at UTMB since 2016 working primarily in the NICU, but also servicing inpatient pediatrics and outpatient Preemie clinic. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in 2009 and Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2012 from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. She specializes in NICU therapy, feeding therapy, children with autism/behavioral difficulties, and evaluation and treatment of children with special needs. She also speaks Spanish fluently.
