This engaging session will highlight practical strategies for conducting community-based research, building meaningful partnerships, and translating research findings into real-world impact. Attendees will learn from researchers and community partners who have successfully collaborated to advance aging and rehabilitation research.

The webinar will feature presentations from Monique R. Pappadis, PhD, MEd, FACRM, Alice Williams, MS, LBSW, and Rebecca Galloway, PhD, PT, GCS, CEEAA, who will share best practices, lessons learned, and practical approaches for engaging communities in research.
Participants will gain insights into:

- Building and sustaining community partnerships
- Developing and working with Community Advisory Boards
- Community-engaged approaches to self-management tool development and knowledge translation
- Increasing awareness of research opportunities within aging and rehabilitation communities
