Switzerland Confirms Clade 1b Mpox as Hong Kong Issues Warning

Switzerland has reported its first case of clade 1b mpox, detected in a traveler returning from Africa, according to the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP). The individual is currently in isolation, and health officials have confirmed there is no risk of transmission to the public.
