A new regional project launched in Saint Lucia aims to strengthen pandemic preparedness in six Eastern Caribbean countries. Backed by the Pandemic Fund and led by PAHO, FAO, and the World Bank, the initiative uses a One Health approach to improve disease surveillance, lab capacity, and health workforce readiness. By fostering cross-sector collaboration, it seeks to build more resilient health systems that can better prevent and respond to future outbreaks.
