NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue conducted a surprise, low-cost drill to test its Special Pathogens Unit’s real-world readiness, with most staff responding within 15 minutes and reporting strong preparedness. As a RESPTC, Bellevue demonstrated that effective, scalable pathogen response training can be achieved with minimal resources and maximum impact.
