NETEC, with funding from ASPR, has launched a $37.5 million grant initiative to help up to 75 U.S. health care facilities become or maintain Level 2 Special Pathogen Treatment Centers, essential for responding to high-consequence infectious diseases (HCIDs). Each selected facility may receive up to $500,000 to support infrastructure improvements, staff training, and specialized equipment, with applications due by December 2, 2025.
