The World Health Organization has declared the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s 16th Ebola outbreak over after 42 days without new cases, following a swift response that included vaccinating more than 47,500 people and rapidly establishing a treatment center efforts that helped contain the 64-case outbreak in just three months.
