As 2025 concludes, the National Emerging Special Pathogens Training and Education Center (NETEC) made meaningful advances in national and global preparedness for high-consequence infectious diseases through expanded training, readiness exercises, consultations, and international partnerships. Broad engagement across healthcare, EMS, and public health systems, along with increased use of educational resources and tools, strengthened readiness and reinforced health system resilience heading into 2026.
