Guest Speaker: Ebola: The Risks of Another Pandemic and Preparedness for Mitigation
Dr. Susan McLellan has been invited to be a Guest Speaker for: Ebola: The Risks of Another Pandemic and Preparedness for Mitigation.
The Infection Control Group consists of professors, infectious disease physicians, infection control directors, laboratory directors, and pharmacists from TAMU, Nursing Schools, Baylor Scott & White and CHI St Joseph Hospital Systems, as well as epidemiologists and other healthcare and public health personnel from the Brazos County, and TAMUSPH. The group focuses on awareness and education on emerging acute infectious disease threats in order to develop adequate preparedness for response and mitigation. To achieve this objective, our activities include talks and presentations from eminent resource persons/guest speakers.
