Escape the Outbreak: Mastering HCID Response Through Interactive Training

Join us on April 17, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, for Escape the Outbreak: Mastering HCID Response Through Interactive Training, an in-person course sponsored by National Emerging Special Pathogens and Treatment Center (NETEC), in partnership with SPECTRE at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). This course is designed for hospital personnel working in frontline environments and those involved in identifying and managing patients with high-consequence infectious diseases (HCIDs) in HHS Region 6 (Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and New Mexico) who are involved in managing high-consequence infectious diseases (HCIDs).

UTMB serves as one of 13 federally funded Level 1 Regional Emerging and Special Pathogens Treatment Centers (RESPTCs) in the National Special Pathogen System (NSPS), which is coordinated by NETEC, as designated by the U.S. Congress. The Special Pathogens Excellence in Clinical Treatment, Readiness & Education Program (SPECTRE) at UTMB serves as a regional resource for special pathogens preparedness, response, and clinical research, playing a vital role in national HCID preparedness and response.
