SPPH Commencement

The School of Public and Population Health and Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences will host a joint Commencement at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, in William C. Levin Hall Main Auditorium on the UTMB campus.

The UTMB community is invited to join us, either in person or via livestream, for this wonderful celebration of our students and their remarkable achievements. At this time tickets are not required. Please note that this subject to change based on public health considerations.

 A livestream commencement video will premiere on this webpage on May 17, 2024, at 2 p.m. CT.

Regalia Pickup

Please make plans to pick up your regalia in the SPPH suite, UTMB Clinics Building, 4th Floor, Room 4.208 during the dates and times listed below.

  • 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 14
  • 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 15
  • 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Thursday, May 16

Attendees who need to pick up regalia on commencement day will pick it up in the Levin Hall Dining Room prior to the ceremony.

Parking is conveniently available in Garage 4, located at 1215 Strand Street. Gates are open from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Graduates Arrive for Rehearsal (Grab and Go Breakfast) – Levin Hall 4.438 Conference Room

9 a.m.
Rehearsal for Student Graduates and Faculty Hooding Practice – Levin Hall Main Auditorium

12:30 p.m.
Graduate Check In (dressed and wearing regalia) – Levin Hall Dining Room

1 -1:15 p.m.

1:30 - 1:45 p.m.
