UTMB's former web analytics application “Angelfish” was discontinued in 2024. It has been replaced with a licensed analytics module in the application “Siteimprove.” Learn more about and set up your access to Siteimprove below.

Using Siteimprove
What is Siteimprove
Siteimprove Analytics gives you powerful insights into visitor behavior and website performance with intuitive dashboards and easy-to-use reporting, so you can make data-driven decisions to consistently deliver business results across teams.
Getting Access to Siteimprove
Setting up your Siteimprove access is a four step process:
- Creating your Siteimprove account.
- Requesting your customized Dashboard.
- Activating your Siteimprove Learning Hub account and taking the appropriate tutorials.
You'll use your UTMB Single Sign-on (SSO) account when logging into Siteimprove.
- Login into the Siteimprove configuration link
- Enter your UTMB email address
- Select Continue
- If
you're already authenticated with SSO for another app you'll be
immediately redirected to the Siteimprove dashboard. You can skip to Step 2
- If you need to sign in to UTMB and authenticate
- You'll be redirected to the UTMB SSO login page
- Enter your UTMB email address and select Next
- Enter your UTMB network password and select Next
- You'll be directed to the Siteimprove dashboard
IMPORTANT: Now that your account is created, use the regular Sitemprove login
Manual configuration is needed to provide you with access to your specific site(s).
- Email UTMB Web Services and request access to the Siteimprove reports for your sites
- Please include the following:
- Name: Chris Example
- Email address: example@utmb.edu
- Full site link(s):
- https://www.utmb.edu/site-name
- https://www.utmb.edu/example
You will receive confirmation when your account configuration is complete. Configuration usually takes about a week.
The Siteimprove Learning Hub provides free training on how to use the platform, as well as free Digital Accessibility training.
- Login to Siteimprove.
- Select the Help Center and Training menu (icon with the question mark in a circle) in the top right navigation.
- Select Learning Hub.
- The Learning Hub dashboard will display in a new tab.
- You will receive a confirmation email with links to free, online courses on digital accessibility, using Siteimprove and more.
- Take Siteimprove's interactive tutorials for walkthroughs of the platform features.
