Remotely Accessing UTMB Computing Resources

 

Is your building going to a four day operation?  Do you need to access your e-mail and electronic files after hours or on weekends?  Do you travel frequently?  On Friday, September 5th at 9:00 a.m., Levin Hall North Auditorium, Information Services (IS) will share information about and demonstrate a variety of remote access options for the UTMB user community.  IS will answer questions like:  What is virtual private networking (VPN) and when do I use it?  What is Citrix and how do I access it?  What options do I have to forward my phones or use UTMB's phone system from my home?  Please join us for a presentation and demonstration of these increasing required services.  The session will be video taped and made available on the Information Services web site the following week.

Due to facilities issues in Levin Hall, the IS Technology Forum, originally scheduled from 9:00 – 10:30 am, has been cancelled. A rescheduled date will be available in the near future.

On Thursday, May 22nd between 3am and 5:30am (0300 - 0530 hours), NSS will perform an upgrade to the Internal and External DMZ services impacting the following systems:

 Internal Google Services
