IBC Inactivation Subcommittee

Principal Investigators are required to obtain approval for inactivation procedures for CDC/USDA select agents and any biological material handled at BSL3 or BSL4 from the IBC Inactivation Review Subcommittee for future use prior to removal of material from the respective laboratory/facility. The submission must include the following information in order to be reviewed:

  • Inactivation SOP
  • Validation SOP
  • In-house generated data supporting inactivation validation
