Mix it Up - Providing Holistic Healthcare in Medically Underserved Areas
AHEC Scholars,
You are invited to Mix it Up! The second installment of Mix it Up will feature Dr. Rachel Rube, a faculty physician at Waco Family Medicine. She received her Bachelors of Science from Baylor University in Waco, Texas and completed medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She completed her residency at Waco Family Medicine’s residency program where she received training in working with medically underserved communities. Dr. Rube is the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion with Waco Family Medicine’s Residency Program and also works as a family medicine physician at the clinic. She will discuss her experience working at a Federally Qualified Health Center, practicing holistic medicine, and engaging with underserved areas.
