Dwayne More, DNP, RN, CNE Assistant Professor

Dr. More has been a nurse for 34 years, and has taught in both the community college and university settings for 15 years. His speciality is Psychiatric Nursing, yet has worked on Medical-Surgical unit and for a Home Health Agency during his time as an
RN. Dr. More earned his doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2012. He is retired military, having served on active duty in the US Air Force for 4 years and in the US Air Force Reserve for 18 years. Dr. More received rank of E-6 by the end of years
of service. Dr. More has been with UTMB for 10 years.
Dr. More was inducted into the Academy of Master Teachers in 2022.
